Today we are featuring the affordable art prints of graphic designer Jessica Singh. Jessica is an Australian-born artist and illustrator based in Berlin. Her influences are her part Indian heritage and love of all things Japanese; this inspiration makes her illustrations unique, colourful, and beautifully whimsical.
When Jessica is not working digitally, she uses a variety of mediums including gouache, collage and pencil.
Jessica’s CV shows she is a successful professional illustrator and has worked with many organisations such as Juxtapose, Yen and Computer Arts magazines, as well as Facebook and Nike.
We have chosen to feature part of the collection Jessica calls “Girl’. Jessica’s Illustration Web page says of her ‘Girl’ collection
It’s contemporary, colourful and unusual, drawing in Japanese, Indian and fashion world influences. Whimsical, fantastical and vibrant, images in this style feature a strong female character, however there’s plenty of subtle detail too.
